It is important to communicate with each other in order to have a successful conference.
All organizers will be able to communicate with those organizers directly under them through the Conference ToolBox. For example a Topic Organizer can send an email to their Session Organizers.
Enter the email address, last name or first name of the person you wish to contact. Or choose the role of the group of people you wish to contact. For Example choose Reviewers from the selection box. To choose more than one role hold down the Control key on the PC and the Command key on the Mac and select the user roles.
If the person has an account in the ToolBox, you will see the person's name and email address.
Click either the to, cc or bcc box and the cc to myself box.
Click on the "Compose Email" button.
An email window will open. Type in the subject and messages. NOTE: The from to, cc, and bcc fields are not modifiable)
Click on "Send Email."
You will receive an on-screen confirmation that the email has been sent.
The maximum number of user you can send an email to is 30. If you choose more than 30 users you will provided the opportunity to copy a text list of the email addresses and paste it inot you your own email program.
If you need to quickly locate a particular person you can find them through the Search Person functionality.
Enter the email address, last name or first name of the person you wish to find. Or choose the role of the group of people you wish to find. For Example choose Reviewers from the selection box. To choose more than one role hold down the Control key on the PC and the Command key on the Mac and select the user roles.
A list of results will be returned that contain the person's name, email address and roles.
To email the person click on the email address. This will launch your email program.
To view the person's user information click on their role. This will open a new window that will list the papers they are authoring or the areas they are organizing.
