How do I submit an abstract?
Submitting an abstract for conference involves three steps:
1. Creating an account of basic information on the contact author.
2. Entering paper information.
3. Adding information about co-authors and assigning author roles/order.
To get started, go to Author Center > Abstracts/Papers > Submit Abstract from the toolbar.
How do I update my abstract?
Click Update from the Options box on the Status page.
Update the necessary information
Choose Update to complete the process.
How do I submit my draft paper (or extended abstract)?
Click Submit Draft Paper from the Options box on the Status page.
Click Submit Draft Paper to continue to the Draft Paper Submittal page.
Upload your paper.
Click Submit Draft Paper to complete your submission.
How can I update my draft paper (or extended abstract)?
Follow the instructions for submitting a draft paper as previously noted. Your updated file will overwrite the previous file submitted.
I am an author and a conference organizer. How can I submit my paper?
Your access privileges are cumulative. This means that as a conference organizer, you have administrative rights to all levels below your role. Your account information will allow you to log in as an author. You do not need to create an additional account; however, you will need to log out of the administration area and log in as an author.
How will I know my paper has been accepted?
Once your paper has been approved, you will receive an acceptance notification via email. Comments are accessible from the Paper Details page of the corresponding paper number.
How do I submit my final paper?
Click Submit Final Paper from the Options box on the Status page.
Click Submit Final Paper to continue to the Final Paper Submittal page.
Upload your paper.
Click Submit Final Paper to complete your submission.
How can I update my final paper?
If you upload your final paper and find you need to submit a revised version, please send your revised file to toolboxhelp@asme.org and be sure to include the conference name and paper number in the email. Once the final paper deadline has been reached, revised papers will not be accepted.
How can I move my submittal from one technical area to another?
If you submitted an abstract to one area of interest, topic, etc., and wish to move it to another, please contact the conference organizer responsible for handling your abstract.
How can I update my email address or contact information?
You can update all of your personal information (name, address, password, etc.), directly from your account.
Log into your author account on the conference site.
Choose My Account from the toolbar.
Edit the information you wish to update and submit the changes.
How can I view reviewer and/or organizer comments?
Reviewer and organizer comments are accessible from the Paper Details page of the corresponding paper number.
Click Details from the Options box on the Status page.
Scroll down to the Reviewer and Organizer comments area to review comments on your paper.
