ICM&P 2011 Conference

In 2011, three leading international manufacturing and materials processing conferences – the 6th ASME 2011 International Manufacturing Science and Engineering Conference (MSEC) and 4th JSME/ASME 2011 International Conference on Materials and Processing (ICM&P) both co-sponsored by ASME and JSME, as well as the 39th NAMRC – An International Forum, sponsored by SME – will be collocated to better serve the needs of the manufacturing research community. This first-time collocated conference will be hosted by Oregon State University from June 13-17, 2011, in Corvallis, Oregon, USA.

Because of differences in the conference structures and copyright processing, prospective authors are requested to pay special attention to the respective paper submission guidelines for the three conferences:

• ASME authors interested in MSEC/ICM&P should submit papers at: www.asmeconferences.org/MSEC2011.
• NAMRC authors should submit papers at: www.conferencetoolbox.org/NAMRC39.
• JSME authors interested in MSEC/ICM&P should submit papers at: www.asmeconferences.org/ICMP2011.

Please note that submissions of the same paper to more than one conference are not permitted. All submitted papers will be rigorously peer-reviewed by the respective conferences.

Accepted MSEC and ICM&P papers will be published jointly on a single-volume conference CD, while accepted NAMRC papers will be published separately on a CD as the official Proceedings of NAMRI/SME. In addition, a select number of high-quality NAMRC papers will be fast-tracked for publication in special or regular issues of SME’s SCI-indexed Journal of Manufacturing Systems (JMS) or Journal of Manufacturing Processes (JMP).
